I am Geoffrey, and for years, I felt helpless watching my mother battle a sickness that seemed to have no cure. Living in Kisii, I grew up watching her work tirelessly for our family, her hands worn from years of farming and household chores. When she fell ill, what started as occasional fatigue slowly turned into something much worse. Every cough, every groan, every pained expression felt like a knife in my chest.
