I grew up hearing people say that love and marriage would come naturally to everyone. I believed it too — until I became the woman everyone thought would never marry. It started subtly at first. People whispered about me, my looks, my personality, and even my family background. But the comment that changed everything came from someone I had known for years — my neighbour.
