I grew up believing that my future would be bright. As a child, I dreamed without limits. I imagined myself completing school, getting a good job, supporting my family, and living a life of dignity. Teachers told me I was intelligent. Relatives said I would go far. I held onto those words tightly, believing they were promises waiting to be fulfilled. At that time, life felt full of possibility, and hope came easily.
Everything began to change when financial struggles entered my education journey. School fees became a constant problem. Each term started with uncertainty and anxiety. I was sent home repeatedly, watching classmates continue with lessons while I waited at home, embarrassed and helpless. Eventually, the delays piled up, and the dream I loved so much slipped through my fingers. Dropping out of school was one of the most painful moments of my life.
