I Entered Marriage With Hope, Love, and Trust, Only to Be Slowly Rejected, Emotionally Abandoned, and Finally Dumped Like I Never Meant Anything, as My Partner Grew Cold, Avoided Me, Listened to Outsiders, and Eventually Walked Away

When I entered marriage, I truly believed I had finally found my safe place. I came with hope in my heart, love in my actions, and trust in my spirit. I was ready to build, to compromise, to grow together. I believed marriage was about standing side by side, facing life as one. I gave my all—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—without holding back.

At first, everything felt right. Conversations flowed, laughter filled our home, and plans for the future were made with excitement. I felt chosen and valued. I believed I had a partner who saw me, understood me, and wanted to grow old with me. I ignored small warning signs because I trusted love.
