For a long time, I lived from one appointment to another without clear answers. I was always tired. Pain came and went without warning. Some days I felt normal, and the next day I could barely get out of bed. Tests were done. Medication was changed. Nothing seemed to bring lasting relief, and the uncertainty drained me.
The illness affected everything. I stopped planning my days because I never knew how I would feel. Work suffered. Relationships became strained.
