For years, I felt like I was living in a house that wasn’t truly mine. Every decision, from what we ate to how we spent money, seemed to be filtered through my in-laws. At first, I tried to ignore it, thinking that this was just part of married life a phase that would pass.
But over time, it became suffocating.
