There was a time in my life when I had absolutely nothing. I slept on the streets, moving from one place to another, carrying only a small bag with a few clothes. Some nights I stayed near closed shops, other nights I slept at bus stops hoping security guards wouldn’t chase me away.
Hunger, shame, and hopelessness had become my daily companions. I never imagined my life would reach that point. Years earlier, I had a small job and a simple but stable life.
