A married man from central Kenya has spoken out after uncovering an affair that he says had been hidden in plain sight for months, leaving him confused and emotionally drained as he struggled to understand the sudden changes in his home.

Growing suspicion

He said the trouble began quietly, with unexplained late nights, guarded phone calls, and a partner who seemed emotionally distant. “I felt something was wrong, but I had no proof. Every time I asked, I was told I was overthinking,” he said. Friends advised patience, while others warned him to prepare for the worst.

The man said the uncertainty became unbearable, affecting his sleep and focus at work. After a recommendation from an old friend, he decided to consult DR Kashiririka, a well known herbal and traditional service provider. He said his intention was not confrontation but clarity. “I wanted the truth, whatever it was,” he said.

According to the man, shortly after the consultation, events unfolded rapidly. He said his spouse began behaving nervously and eventually broke down during a conversation at home. “She confessed everything without me pushing. I was shocked by how sudden it was,” he said.

Family counsellors note that unresolved suspicion often causes more damage than confirmed truth. While opinions on spiritual practices vary, testimonies like this continue to draw attention, especially among couples seeking answers beyond conventional counselling.

The man said although the discovery was painful, it gave him relief. “At least now I know what I was fighting. Lies were hurting me more than the truth,” he said. He added that the couple has since begun open discussions about their future, whether together or apart.

He urged others facing similar situations to seek clarity early. “Living in doubt slowly destroys you. Truth allows you to decide your next step,” he said.
