Student’s constant failures turn to success after unexpected breakthrough

A university student from Eldoret has shared how repeated academic failures that once threatened to end his education suddenly turned into consistent success after he sought help beyond the usual study methods.

Brian Kiptoo, 23, says his academic journey had been frustrating despite putting in long hours of study. He explains that no matter how hard he prepared, his results remained below average, leaving him discouraged and on the verge of dropping out.

He recalls sitting for exams confidently, only to receive disappointing grades that did not reflect his effort.

“I was reading day and night, but my results were always the same. It reached a point where I started doubting myself,” he said.

Kiptoo adds that pressure from family and peers made the situation even more difficult, as expectations remained high while his performance continued to decline.

After sharing his struggles with a friend, he was introduced to Dr Kashiririka. Though uncertain, he decided to try after exhausting other options such as group discussions and extra coaching.

During the consultation, he says he was guided through a process aimed at improving focus, clarity, and overall academic performance.

“I followed the instructions carefully. After some time, I noticed I could concentrate better and understand things faster,” he explained.

Within the next semester, Kiptoo says his grades improved significantly. Subjects he previously struggled with became easier to handle, and he was able to pass all his units for the first time since joining campus.

He notes that the change also boosted his confidence and motivation, allowing him to engage more actively in his studies.

“I now feel in control of my studies. The improvement has been clear and consistent,” he added.

Many who have sought similar assistance describe it as structured and focused on practical outcomes, helping individuals overcome persistent challenges.

Kiptoo is now preparing for his final year with renewed confidence, saying the experience gave him a second chance at achieving his academic goals.

“If you are struggling and feel stuck, do not give up. Sometimes you need a different approach,” he advised.
