Woman who had her private parts produce bad smell speaks out

A woman from the Kenyan side of the Busia border has broken her silence after months of suffering from a distressing condition that left her isolated, ashamed, and desperate for answers.

In a first-person account, she said the problem began shortly after a bitter breakup with her former boyfriend.

“It started suddenly. There was a strong, embarrassing smell that would not go away no matter what I did,” she said. “I went to clinics, bought medication, and tried home remedies. Nothing worked. People began avoiding me, and I stopped going out.”

According to her, the condition affected her emotionally and socially, forcing her to withdraw from friends and even family.

“I felt cursed. I could not sit comfortably next to anyone. I was always worried people could smell it,” she said.

As her frustration grew, she began to suspect that the problem was not just physical.

“My ex was very bitter when we separated. He threatened me many times, saying I would never have peace,” she said. “After that, my life changed in strange ways.”

Out of desperation, she sought help aimed at identifying and neutralising what she believed was a deeper problem affecting her body and well-being.

“I explained everything, including the threats and the suffering. I was told that what I was experiencing was not normal and that something had been done against me,” she said.

Following the intervention, she says the changes were noticeable within days.

“The smell reduced slowly, then completely disappeared. I felt clean again. I could sleep, go out, and sit with people without fear,” she said.

She added that her confidence returned as her condition improved.

“I finally felt like myself again. The shame lifted, and the fear went away,” she said.

The woman believes what she experienced was linked to spiritual interference connected to her past relationship.

“I know people will judge, but I lived through it. Once what was done against me was neutralised, my body returned to normal,” she said.

Residents who know her confirmed that she has resumed normal life and appears healthier and happier than before.

The story has sparked conversations in Busia about the link between emotional trauma, unexplained health issues, and the importance of seeking help when conventional solutions fail.
