Panic broke out in a busy Kampala trading centre after a feared gang reportedly stormed a mobile money shop, grabbed cash and tried to flee before villagers chased them barefoot through dusty roads and narrow lanes. Traders in places like Kisenyi, Nateete and Old Taxi Park said business stopped instantly as people screamed and ran for safety.
