A married woman from eastern Kenya has shared how her marriage, once marked by neglect and emotional distance, took a positive turn after she sought spiritual guidance, bringing attention and warmth back into her home.

Neglect ends

She said her husband had become increasingly distant over months, spending long hours away and showing little interest in family matters. “I felt invisible. No matter what I said or did, he was never present,” she said. Friends suggested patience, while relatives advised confrontation, but neither seemed effective.

The woman said her home is now filled with warmth and understanding. “We talk, we laugh, and we make decisions together. Life feels lighter,” she said. She added that small disagreements still occur but are resolved calmly.

She encouraged others facing similar issues to act before resentment grows. “Love can be restored if both partners are willing and open,” she said.
