It started slowly a strange feeling I couldn’t explain. Every time I walked into my house, the air felt heavy, as if something unseen was pressing down on me. The lights flickered occasionally, the children had nightmares almost every night, and I constantly felt drained. At first, I thought it was just exhaustion from work, but when visitors began saying they felt “uneasy” inside my home, I knew something wasn’t right.
Soon, things worsened. Food spoiled too fast, plants around the house dried up, and I could hardly sleep. My husband became restless too; we argued over small things, and even our pet dog refused to stay indoors. It was as if an invisible cloud hung over us, stealing our peace and joy. Still, I tried to ignore it, telling myself I was just overthinking.
