When I woke up in the hospital bed, I couldn’t feel my legs. The accident had left me with a severe spinal injury, and after several scans and consultations, the doctors gave me the news that shattered my world. They said there was little chance I would ever walk again. I remember crying silently as my family stood by my bedside, trying to stay strong even though I could see the pain in their eyes.
The days that followed were the darkest of my life. Physiotherapy was unbearable, and every time I tried to move, my body refused to cooperate. Friends visited less often, and I could tell that many had already given up on me. My life that was once full of energy, ambition, and dreams had suddenly turned into endless hospital walls and painkillers.
