For a long time, I felt invisible in my own relationship. My partner, who once couldn’t keep his eyes or hands off me, suddenly became cold and distant. He stopped complimenting me, stopped touching me, and even stopped noticing when I tried to dress up for him. Nights became lonelier even though we shared the same bed. I kept wondering what went wrong, and I couldn’t help but blame myself.
I tried everything I could think of. I changed my hairstyle, bought new clothes, cooked his favorite meals, and even tried to initiate conversations to bring back the spark. But nothing worked. He would just scroll on his phone, sleep early, or claim to be tired. I cried myself to sleep many nights, feeling unwanted and rejected.
