For most of my adult life, I felt like I was living inside a dark financial tunnel with no light at the end. Every month I was borrowing from one person to pay another, juggling loans, mpesa fuliza, and shylock debts that never seemed to end. I reached a point where even my own family was tired of hearing the words “nisaidie tu kidogo.” It was embarrassing, frustrating, and mentally exhausting.
I used to ask myself why money slipped through my fingers so easily. I worked hard, I saved when I could, and I hustled every day, yet nothing ever changed.
